do you have a swing door on front or a drop door? Atwoods in Stillwater is starting to sell a few hog traps.
I've got one that has a rooter door, hinged at the top, another trap with a swing door hinged on the side. My big trap/catch pen has a swing door on each end with a guillotine door between the two. Guillotine door is probably my favorite door... even though I don't have any traps that use it? haha Rooter doors are fine I guess, but I don't know that I have ever had pigs in a trap with the door tripped and more decide to root the door open and come on in. I would imagine if I had a sow in heat in there or something that they just couldn't resist that might happen, but most of the time it seems to be one shot and done.
