Possible world record Lake Trout.

Caught in Colo. on May 5th.......73.29 pounds.

I'm sure this one was either released or mounted but I caught and tried eating a LT back in the 90's while fishing on Great Slave Lake in the NWT.....very oily flesh and I didn't care for the taste at all.

I saw a video on this. The guy weighed/measured then released it. He’s not sure if he will officially get the world record title, because he didn’t want to keep/kill the fish.

Has to be from Blue Mesa reservoir. Wouldn't think many lakes in CO could support those size lakers.
