It's funny -- the first Presidental funeral I remember was Kennedy's. I remember wondering why grown-ups in our living room were crying about the death of a man they didn't know. Of all the presidents since Geo HW has been the only one who has been more a good man thab a politician. Maybe now that I'm a tad bit older and hopefully a little wiser I understand more. I don't even usually watch public funerals. This one, however, I think marks the passing of a man who was a President unlike any other. You would hope the rest of them would do a little reflecting and stop the petty **** -- but alas, I'm not really naive enough to think that will happen.
