I don't like the longer barrel on the NHMs and just sold a 91 for that reason. Id still take one over anything century touched tough...all the recent century love is just not deserved IMO. Their are good ones out there but ive owned enough of both to prefer norinco for a reason.

Mine was 7.62 x 39. Never saw a 5.56.

half of those guns aren't exactly available for purchase. then pick the caliber you want -> fixed, side, or underfolding stock -> barrel length -> and that narrows it down quite a bit. then take a globe and spin it real fast and take your an index finger and sharply thrust it to the globe...whichever country your finger is on when it stops determines the manufacturer you should choose.

I think that is probably the best advise. Got the wife to buy into it so it looks like I'm getting an AK. Only cost is I have to give her my AR. Don't mind that though, I get an AK.
