I've got a 96 F-150 4X4 and I'm replacing the tires. Is it going to hurt anything if the fronts are 31X10.50X15 and the rears 32X11.50X15 if only temporarily? I am not running it in 4WD either. The front tires are the worst shape being as I had one come apart on me sat about 5 mi from home.

Just don't use your four wheel drive until you are matching again, and you are fine.

I needs me a 4x4 Ford. I love the Jeeps, but they aren't so great if you are taking a lot of stuff wherever you are headed. I already have the towbar to take my little CJ with me. I just need the truck!!!

I have used 4x4 with a difference of 31 vs 35's and a 3.42 vs 4.10. its not something you want to do at all. But a 32 vs 31 is very minimal. I would not suggest it as something has got to give and it usually the t-case. You need to match the tires and the ratios at all times

This will be 100% fine in 2x4 and IMO you would be fine off road in 4x4. As long as you are in the dirt or mud you could probably go forever with 32&31" tires. On pavement in 4x4 something might eventually tear up.
