Quick Question About Tax Stamps

Been mulling the silencer for awhile just wondering is the tax stamp a one time fee of $200 or a yearly fee of $200? Looked on the forum but decided to just ask.

For a supressor it is a one time tax of $200 to transfer the can into your name, You can put the supressor on any gun you can fit it on.

I'm confused about the whole put in a trust thing or am I confused about that too?

To transfer to a trust, it is still a $200 stamp. But, when you set up the trust, you can have more than one trustee. This lets more than one person have physical possesion of the item. There is more to it than that, but that's the basics.

with a trust you also dont have to send in finger print cards or pictures. and no leo sign off. makes it a lil easier

Some dealers will assist you with your paperwork, just a sign and drive type of thing. lol
