Our military is at an all time low. Hell they can not even get ppl to join. I bet money they will create a draft just to get numbers up.
Only if it doesn't mimic the draft during the 60's and 70's where people with money could opt out, and it was across the board, no matter what you did for a living.
The previous draft was rift with "exemptions" and deferrments.
If we as a nation need to fall back on a draft, every swinging d!ck and woman would have to enter the draft no matter what unless 100% disabled. The military has a lot of positions that can be filled with those handicapped and not put in harms way.
The mantra in the 60's and 70's was that every soldier is to be trained to be a fighter no matter the MOS. In some cases that was true as administration/cook/etc. types were called to duty during past wars when the fighting got too close and losses mounted.
Handicapped could remain in CONUS.

Sadly, that's true as mental illness was exempt in the past draft as well as others.
Socialist school curriculum has indoctrinated students to not have national pride, support the military or country, hate fighting or guns.
The draft will be imposed. Exactly, if not more woke. The politicians / puppeteers see war and the draft as another form of abortion, to rid the planet of undesirables (patriots, poor, lower middle class. Rich will be exempt and profiteering on the war.)

I retired as an E-6 but I don’t see what that had to do with anything.
