First i would like to say thanks for any help offered. I am wanting to start hand loading for lots of reasons. Price, experience and accuracy. I have a Winchester Model 70 that likes the Federal Premium 130 grain TSX barns bullet. From what I am finding out is Federal is not making this round anymore. I have tried all the commercial loads, but she likes what she likes. My problem is in the barns book there are five different powders. With out buying a # of all 5, how do i figure out which powder to buy? Also I have two different brands of brass. Do I need to stick to one? I have some experience in reloading the .270 and shot shells. But I have not had to "cook" up a load. My primary game will be deer and antelope. 300-400 yards will be the max. I know thats far enough. Thanks Jason
