I remember being out fishing with my crazy Indian grandfather watching him eat handfuls of raw hamburger.

I'll do it with whole cuts (about 1/4 of my jerky never makes it to the dehydrator), but ground? No way.

Yeah, I'm a steak snob. Typically order chicken fry or meat loaf in a chain steak house as I know the steak is not going to be done right. There are some that do get it right, and they aren't cheap.

Ate at Texas Road house in Stillwater last night. Knowing those college kid cooks can NEVER get a steak cooked right after multiple failures, I ordered the half rack of St Louis ribs.
They came out so dry and over cooked that when trying to cut the slab into individual ribs, the meat just crumbled. You could have cut a can of tuna into slices easier.
