Has anyone ever sent a rifle back to Remington to have a trigger replaced due to the recall? I have heard there still may be problems with the new replacement trigger also how long did it take to get back?

I think they just announced that future 700s are going to come with timney triggers. I replaced the recalled triggers in mine with timneys. Brother in law sent his in and don’t think he had issues but this was before the change of ownership.

I did. It's been a long time but seems to me like it only took 2-3 weeks. I remember when the gun shop called me it was back and being pleasantly surprised. I always thought recalls had a deadline date. Is that wrong?
