Okay, here she is in all of her rough glory.

Right off I can tell you this is a cosmetically challenged rifle,,,
There is a patina of corrosion all over all of the metal,,,
I was going to sand it all down and cold blue it.

The stock is a nicely grained walnut with only a few small dings,,,
But you can see in the images that there is some "staining",,,
Probably from cleaning fluids.

This picture of the front sight shows where there used to be a brass bead,,,
I was going to file a notch and fill it with JB Weld.

You can also see the worst of the metal corrosion.

The rear sight is an odd duck. The sight blade rotates down to get it out of the way of the peep sight. It's also adjustable for windage by that knurled knob in the middle.

The peep sight is some brand I don't know of. The bolt will slide past it for removal.

The bolt is rough but will clean up.

Just another shot of the bolt.

This is the vertical adjustment for the peep sight.

More pics in the next post.

Here is a pic of the rear of the peep sight. It has three different size aperture holes.

Here is a top view of the rear sight. You can see where the windage adjusts.

I tried to get a picture of the bore for you but it's beyond my capability

I initially bought this rifle as a project for a young friend of mine,,,
I was going to strip and refinish the stock with him,,,
And sand/strip and cold blue the metal.

Unfortunately the boy did a stupid thing,,,
His father told me he is on a one year probation,,,
And he will not allow him to receive any gifts for a long while.

So it's just sat in it's Plano case for several years now.

This rifle has one saving grace to it as it sits right now,,,
It's a very precise shooter in that off a bench at 25 yards,,,
I was able to make a group just over 1/2" with Federal Bulk Pack ammo.

That's with my 72 year old eyes using a front rest and rear bag,,,
I'm sure just about anyone can do better than I did.

I'm asking $150.00 for the rifle itself,,,
I'll throw in the Plano case if you want it.
