I'd just like to ask you to please not use that word, out of respect for some of our members here who do have children with significant developmental disabilities. It's highly offensive to some. I understand the context, I'm just saying, I hope you can find a way to express yourself without using that word. Thank you.

*note - I have been guilty myself in the past of using that word, but I am trying to wean it out of my conversational speech. It is sometimes difficult to do, especially if we get into political discussions.
