Just remember if your looking at a factory threaded barrel. The idiots at ruger threaded a lot of them 1/2 x 28x 3/4 or 1 inch instead of the industry standard of 1/2inch long and if you chuck it in a lathe and trim you're under 16" so you have to buy some stupid ruger jamnut which can throw you off and have a baffle strike.
