ruger 22/45 cocobolo

anyone handle the ruger 22/45 with the cocobolo wood grip panels?

Is the grip thicker than the regular 22/45. Anyone know where I can fondle one?

My buddy down in TX has one. I haven't handled it, but a lot of 22/45 guys modify the frame to accept 1911 grips and they are dang comfortable. I have no experience with the factory option.

Buckmark > Ruger MK1/2/3 and 22/45.

Funny you say that. I saw one at the edmond academy last saturday, i didn't get it then. Went back on sunday afternoon to get it and they had sold it earlier. $299.00. I like the ruger sights better, but the buckmark fits my hand so much better.

You can put a fiber optic front sight on the buckmark for cheap. Plus, why not just get a Tac-Sol rail and a little red dot?

You won't regret it! I shot mine for the first time on Saturday and it was even awesomer than the other guys Buckmarks that I've shot.
