I follow MadPigCustoms on FB and he seems to think these are solid, he just posted one, and it looks very nice.

I don't "need" a .45-70 either but I love my Browning 1886 and would actually be interested in a RugerMarlin stainless 1895 to go with it. One I could enjoy a bit more and not sorry about scratching up in the field.

I think a stainless/laminate 1895 would look sexy paired with my stainless/Laminate No. 1 in .458 Lott.

heck, I shot my buddies 45-70 Marlin a few years ago. Not sure why I even want one. That thing kicked like a mule.
