Ruger SR-22

I would definitely get the s&w based on looks but I bet the ruger will shoot better coming from a 10/22.

I'm sure it would, but after seeing the SR22 in person, I'm pretty sure I'd rather just have a regular 10/22.

Good point. Especially since you can get a 10/22 for $200.

I'm thinkin I should've kept that 10/22. I bought the S&W M&P 15-22 last week and it won't shoot (stovepipes after every shot). I love the looks, but reliability has to mean something!

even though I think its silly lookin I am happy to see Ruger "open the mind" up as it were of the US manufacturers by thinking outside the box for a while now.

but since I already have a 10-22 I am not going to own this one.

I'm afraid they may have waited a little to long to get into this market.
There's been after market mods for the 10/22 for so long it's kind of silly to buy that ugly suckers.

The Sig or S&W 22 would be my two choices.
