I have a smith 340 and it only takes a few shots before I am done.

I will add that ruger to my collection though. That extra 4 ounces will help.

Yeah, but my old 340CT was 15oz with the Chrimson Trace grips (around 13oz with standard grips), the LCR 357 is being sold as a "light weight" revolver and yet it weighs 17.1oz

Doesn't seem very light-weight to me (which is probably a good thing when you're shooting .357 through it).

$575 is more in-line with its market though (still a little high if you ask me). The original LCR was way over-priced for its market (IMHO).

Interesting. What I want to know is if anything is really gained with a .357 mag rd in a short brld revolver? It would seem to me that a lot is lost with the shorter brl since the .357 mag was designed for a 5-6" brl.
