No not required. Neither contributed much to Philosophy and are not considered "philosophers" in most circles.

He is a truth table kind of personality. And a pretty good master of using language to misdirect and dodge questions. Honestly hes kind of a amateur propagandist.

I served under McNamara's "leadership".

I have no good feelings about him and hope he spends his time in hell to atone for the deaths of tens of thousands of American GI's that died under the rules of engagement that he orchestrated and LBJ went along with.
