Thanks guys! Just came back in from shooting it for the first time. I think the DS is just about the perfect size and weight for me...little bigger than a J-frame, little smaller than a K-frame. I like the extra weight from all that steel. Did some looking on the web and decided that the grips are original, but I'm thinking about adding some Tyler T-grips.

When I started looking for a snubbie, it was meant to be carried when I didn't feel like toting the G26 around. Problem is, this little Colt is so pretty that I'm worried about scuffing it up or wearing the blue. Now I may have to keep my eyes open for a "beater" DS. How's that for first world problems?
