Safe to shoot?

Hey all, I had a double feed a while back in my AR. The bullet got boogered up a bit, so I stuck it in a pouch and took it home. I came across it today, and wondered if it was safe to shoot or if I should dispose of it. Mostly I'm afraid of it scratching my barrel. Is that possible or is the brass too soft to actually scratch the barrel?

If it will chamber it is shootable, it will not scratch the barrel

it probably will shoot, but .223 is cheap just junk it...

Don't use it in your next bench match, but otherwise it's fine.
