I have a Saiga-12 and love it!! I am still debating about converting it back to a pistol grip or not. if you wnat more great info check out http://www.saiga-12.com all kinds of info there. Mine eats anything put in it, I would recommend it to anyone as a HD weapon. As it is based on a AK platform, the tool kit consists of a rock and a tub of lard. Simple to take care of in other words.
