just about everything is higher quality, at least compared to wal-mart. personally, i go there because they have the best bulk quantities and prices, but holy crap i mainly go there BECAUSE IT ISN'T BUSY ALL THE TIME AND THE AISLES ARE SO WIDE YOU CAN ACTUALLY PUSH A CART DOWN THEM.

i used to go the Buy For Less on NW Expressway before it became the pruits. i stopped in there the other day to grab a quick item and after going to pretty much only sam's for the better part of two years HOLY CRAP i couldn't even get my dang cart down the aisle and had to constantly move out of the way for other people who DID NOT want to move for me.

i don't have time for that; you can scan and checkout as you go. just fill your cart, scan, leave. grab a cheap slice of pizza or hot dog on your way out.
Yeah, that consumerism mentality of "easier to shop for stuff you dont need with money you dont have" really don't interest me.

Much as I dont like Walmart for all the typical reasons, I do for their plus program and delivery of groceries. Here is why...it saves your lists and allows you reorder of last time, they will substitute for a greater value item.

Meaning if you track it then you will get more for your money each time you restock. Our groceries are average 150 a wk for essentials. In a family of 3 with a teenager and big damn husky.

I refuse as well as my wife to go in with it being 2022 and you can just order it and be delivered same day or two days for less than retail stores.

See i would say it's just the opposite. you don't really.....see what you don't need at sams? like i mean....i don't really make impulse buys there because they don't set up the store with products and layout designed for impulse buys. like you can't just impulse grab one of something because yeah it's going to be in bulk.

so odds are you're going with a list and that's what you're going to get.

i get it if you don't want to leave the house, but i know for a fact sam's is cheaper on several items than wal-mart. you don't have to believe me, but i mean people pay the membership fee for a reason.

i mean dude, DID YOU SEE THE $90 30 LB GYRO CONE I LINKED THE OTHER DAY?! where on earth are you going to get $3/lb gyro meat other than sams? $20 for 20 lbs of frozen pita in bags of 10, ~$16 for a 20 lb bag of basmati rice and holy crap you are good for a while on like $100.

and i see the wal-mart plus is twice the price of sam's $45, not to mention with this deal you get sam's for $8.

i will admit, if i didn't live right by a sam's i likely wouldn't do it. but my grocery bill and my food waste have both decreased significantly. i buy more frozen meats than i did because the frozen meats at other markets sucked. buying more frozen stuff means i don't throw away stuff i didn't have time to cook or didn't eat in terms of leftovers. i have problem with keeping stuff in bulk or storing food, so it works well for me.

i wouldn't hate delivery, and sams has extra perks for the price of the wal-mart plus that include things like delivery and the ability to shop during "closed" hours. but seems a bit expensive for me. i live within a mile or two of a sams so gas prices won't affect my grocery bill at least.

Nope, just switch out what I use. I have 4 email addresses and 3 credit cards. I suspect, 2 email addresses and 2 credit cards would suffice.

I'm retired now, but when I was in IT, I managed the email server so I could make email aliases all day long and dispose of them when no longer needed. Worked great at the casinos! lol...

This. The scan and go makes the cost worth it alone.

Smokin' Hot Deal. I let my SAMS membership expire a year ago. I've been a SAMs member since 1992-ish, and a Costco member since 2011.

You have until June 26 to take advantage of this. Their website says you have to join in the store, not online. For $8.00 I'm going to stop in this afternoon and get me on again.

LINKY DOOHICKEY

I really prefer Costco but SAMS does have things I like.
