Can someone give me an approximate value of a Savage 22/410 that is about 50 years old? Bluing and rifling is good. Stock looks a little rough. I know a guy that wants to sell one, but I have no idea of the fair value of it.

22 LR, WMR, Hornet? Good clear pictures of the gun and all its markings are necessary to give an accurate estimate as one person’s “good” is another persons “rough”. @dlbleak spelled things out well, there are soooooo many variations we gots to know exactly which you have.

I have a collection of 24v's. Condition and model specifics can make it $250 to $1200. The more coveted arrangements can bring $2000 plus like my .357/20ga. I love the double guns as they have been a number one go to when predator hunting, especially when I'm alone. You have long and short range coverage at the flip of the hammer lever. When predator calling in groups we generally have a dedicated shot gunner and a rifleman. But coyotes are coyotes and the shot gunner might reach out to 60yds on occasion and the rifleman will kill at 12yds.
Check Gun Broker and see what a like kind is selling for (not asking price). Then take 10 -15% off and your in the fair market range.

I kind of watch out for these guns, and the ones I’ve seen for sale lately in that configuration are bringing in the $500-600 range. I know where a mint 357/20 can be had for $1800.

Used to have a 22 Lr and 20 gauge. Quite the surprise when you think you’ve got the switch on 22 and the 20 goes instead. I’d love to have another one.

Your right on the money. Most are in that range. In the last couple / 4-5 years I've pd $500-825. I'd like to have the $1800 to get your 357/20 find. I paid $300 for mine - in 1984.
