    LOL, I just read that thread again. That was a fun wait looking back on it. You guys are great.


    Just maid a big payment on an AAC TITAN. Form 3 *should* be going out shortly from AAC to Maj. Malfunction since they have the can in stock. Too bad the wait times are 4-6 months on form 4s now. I'm pretty stoked!!

    Don't really have a timeline on the rifle. I'm just getting stuff together as it comes along. I'm not in any real rush. I will eventually be buying a complete rifle from Surgeon though. It'll be complete with a Premier 5-25x56 for sure though!

    Sound like you are going to have a lot of $$$$$$ tied up in this rig. Can't wait to see pics when you are done with it.

    I talked to him last week and just got a Blackout mount from him this week, so he is around.

    He called me. I told him a while back to order it for me and he called to ask if I'd take a different thread pitch they had in stock and I said sure and made my payment to secure it.

    Yeah, a lot of money for sure, but it's something I've wanted to do for probably 8 years. It's just now starting to happen since I'm finished with school. I've got lots of patience for this project. I'm normally not very patient with stuff, but I've had a lot of practice on this one, lol. I've found some amazing deals on the stuff I've got so far which is the only reason I'm buying the parts I am. I got the brass for 180 per hundred. It's like 260 plus shiping for 100 pieced on Midway. I also got 500 250gr projectiles from Hornady for a smoking deal thanks to olyeller. Everything from Bryon is a good deal so I didn't go wrong there either, hahaha!!!

    Oh, there will be pics galore when this project is complete.

    I'll have to give him another call one of these days I'm coming up on 5 months but being my first C3 I didn't know to keep a copy of the paperwork so I can't call the ATF to check status.:doh:

    Sounds like you are going to have a nice set up. One of these days i'm going to get the precision rifle I have been talking about for years.
