I recently bought a set of Hornady 223 dies, to my surprise it did not come with a shell holder. I have a Lee Challenger press, will a RCBS or Hornady shell holder fit or should I just back order the Lee?
As far as I know Lee is the only brand that ships shell holders with their die sets.
.223 Rem should use RCBS #10 or Hornady #16.
I have used RCBS shell holders in a cheesy Lee "Reloader" press (a bench-mounted C-Frame style) with no problem.
