Yesterday, I bought a 629DX from an OSA member and drove straight to the range. I shot some tremendous groups, holes cutting each other at twenty five yards.

According to some people on one of the S&W forums, they select them for accuracy, give them a trigger job, extra grips, spring loaded easy to replace front sights, extra sight blades.
If you are interested in a 629 you might want to look for a -2E or later, because they were made stronger (endurance package).

Man, holes touching at 25 yards?!?! I have a hard time doing that with a scoped .22lr.
