Maybe I'm missing something here...but why the hell is that 590 opening up after he fires a shot?
The model 12 Win I used in Nam would clear a tube by holding in the trigger and jacking the action. I just finished restoring a civilian model and have not tried that yet. Next time I get to the range I'll see if it works the same way. Really effective weapon in the jungle.
Most of the civvie models would do the same thing. I'm not sure when they "fixed" that "problem", but some of the later Model 12s showed up without it

The model 12 lacked a disconnector....hold the trigger, pump the action.
It's called Slam Fire. Also common with the Ithica 37.
