Hey all,

I tried a search and couldn't find anything.

I've got a P6 which won't (reliably) feed hollowpoints.
I heard that this is a common issue with the German imports, something about the feed ramp being too steep or whatever.

Mostly I was curious if you would recommend a local place I can take it to.

Thanks!

There was a cutoff date with the P6's where they had that problem. The newer ones are more reliable. I don't know what the date was. The earlier P6's like either ball ammo or hollow points that are long in length.

OlYeller on this board (Mike at Accurate Iron). He's in Jones (not to far from Edmond).

He can polish the feed ramp and ream/polish the chamber on the older P6s to get them up to reliable function.

This is exactly right. There are several places offering to fix the feed ramp for around $50 or so, or you could could use powrball that works perfect. winchester silvertips should work as well.
Sig will fix it, or Customized Creationz will fix it.
