Simplified reloading for the 7.62 Nagant

Since I don't have any .30 caliber pistol bullets I decided to give the Nagant a try with .315 round balls and Triple Seven.

I loaded up some shot shells using a 30cal gas check over a light charge, followed by shot and another check for a card. Crimped the mouth through the top of a 765 Lee factory crimp die.

Are you using a nagant case or a 32-20 resized, I have used the 3220 which are too short to fully seat the bullet but I just picked up some nagant ammo & will use the cases to reload & crimp over the bullet

I'm using Nagant cases. Bought a box of shells at OKC Academy on 63rd and Expressway.

very cool. ammo availability is why I didn't get one of these revolvers years ago. Good to know this is available and fun to do for that matter
