Just a follow up post. I went out to the skeet/trap range, OTA, and did some shooting. I had never shot skeet/trap before. I LOVE IT!!! I hit maybe 50% of the clays, which is way more than I expected. My son, of course, out shot me with something like 75% hitting clays. Heck of a lot of fun. Can't wait to go back.
It is a very nice place for sporting clays. They have at least three different trails to shoot from beginner to more experienced. It is on the pricey side with sporting clays running $23 per 50 targets (50 targets per trail). Trap is alot cheaper though.
I've shot at Silver Leaf. It is very nice, but pricey is right.
