I started loading .45acp with LPP, never changed. I've only come across a few .45acp brass with SPP. Not worth it to change the entire process when only a handful out of a 1000 are different. Times are scares though for reloading supplies and it's good to be flexible.

The idiot that thought SPP were great for .45 acp brass probably wears a man bun and has a weak handshake. WTF was the thinking behind it?
Just finished loading 800 or so rounds of real brass with about 20 or so of the SPP that didn't make it through the loader. I'll toss them if someone doesn't want them. Ship them on your dime.
You can use small rifle primers if you don't have SPP. Drop down a full grain and work up.
