That you never took.
Employee Spent a little time off before the company realized they fired the wrong John Doe, then brought employee back to work and said, sorry, wrong John Doe, but it was spelled the same. Our mistake.
What do you think?

Another thing i find amazing is that they said "hey john, come here." proceeded to take his ID and said "your fired."
Escorted him out the gate and never told him why untill later, they called him and said something like, hey sorry, wrong guy, come on back to work.
They also don't even work in the same area.

If I liked the job and the people there are a couple of things I would request, after a sincere apology from the company.

1) A full review of the company's drug testing policy, including an audit/review of the particular lab they use
2) A full review of my employment/personnel file to make sure that any record of the termination was expunged
3) Full back pay and accrued benefits for the 'off' period

If I didn't like the job or the people, I would pretty much do the same but with a lawyer, in a more forceful manner.
