I still think the whole thing was a big PR stunt to get people worked up over it. I've been hearing a lot of bad reviews. I have no interest in seeing it.

Sony took a big PR hit with the leaked emails and other data...I highly doubt they took such a hit to boost sales of a mediocre, non-blockbuster movie.
Franco and Rogan were promoting the movie in places I'd never expected them, including a crappy Naked & Afraid "episode" and even on the React Youtube channel. Then it got further hyped with the "hacking" and pulling of the movie from theaters. After all that, it was a big let down. It was funny, but not something I'm keen to rewatch. I was expecting something like 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Zach and Miri, etc. But this didn't come close. It was more like a Will Ferrell movie than something I expected from Rogan.
