Looking for sporterized or poor condition military surplus bolt rifles. 1903, Krag, and Mausers preferred but will entertain all. Show me what you got hanging on the wall!

EDIT: Mainly looking for nice sporter milsurp rifles or one where building a sporter would not be sin(i.e. the barrel and stock is trash but the action is good)

Just checked them out. Very disappointing. "Rusty Sewer Pipe, $1099.99 Only $999.99"

I'm more interested in the well made milsurp sporters I've been seeing pop up here. I keep missing the deals. If there is a milsurp that everything is junk except the action...well I might consider building a sporter. I can't harm a milsurp that can still be saved.

I’ve got a VZ24 Mauser that is pretty ugly. Stock is very rough, head space is questionable, but other than that is all together and solid I’d part ways with.

Built my magnificent 7x57 deer rifle on a worn-out VZ-24. Good steel.
