Stopped at Butcher BBQ Stand in Wellston today

Have heard about it for years, but every time we drove by it was backed up and we never stopped.

Well everyone apparently went to the lake or something because we pulled in and there was like 5-10 cars.

Here’s what we got.

They come with a Twinkle for dessert.

Everything was very tasty and the meats were very well cooked.

Glad we finally made it in.

We went last week. The food was excellent and well worth the drive from Glenpool. We got the 2 meat dinner with extra sides. It was more food than we could eat and ended up taking much of it home.

We got the two meat also. As the pics show.

Wife took most of hers home and I probably took close to half. Supper tonight.

What did you guys think of the baked beans? I wasn’t a big fan. They have apple cobbler in them I believe I was told.

My wife wanted to try the beans, but she was afraid they might be too sweet for her. We tried the potato salad and Mac and cheese instead. Both were good but the potato salad was excellent.

I personally didn’t like them but my wife ordered them and liked them.

I had those two sides and thought they both were very good. Matter of fact enjoyed them for lunch and leftovers for supper.

eta: I wanted to try their corn but my clothing choice today suggested my sloppy eating habits and their generous butter/spice ratio might make me look like even a bigger slob than I am so I passed. But my wife said it was excellent.
