Im looking into getting the Model 700 SPS Tactical AAC®-SD
in october or so, how long will it take to get my form 4 done and able to get the suppressor? also i have been looking to put a new stock on, but what would the best and best priced stock for it. I have read too, i didnt know if the poster knows this, but hunting with a suppressor is not allowed.

Usually takes 2-4 months for the form 4 to be approved. I would recommend the AAC Cyclone (thread on), AAC 762-SD (QD), or the AAC 762-SDN-6 (QD) for your rifle. For a stock you could go with B&C if you wanted to save some money. If you wanted a one of the best you can get a McMillan or Manners. Or if you want to go all out the AICS 2.0.
Hunting certain animals with a suppressor is legal in OK. Other states like TX and AR you can hunt more with them. In AR you can hunt anything with a suppressor that you can hunt without one AFIK.

Never said I wanted to hunt with them. Just want to go out to private land and shoot without everyone in a 100 mile radius knowing I'm out there shooting. My 308 is a multi purpose gun not just for hunting
WOW didnt know you could hunt somethings with one, i read, just dont remember where that you couldnt. looks like ill have to look some more to find it. thank you all for the info.
