I would tend to agree that a wielded knife against a holstered firearm within 21 feet that the knife has an advantage, but these officers have their guns out, in that situation the knife loses every time, every time.

You do realize that a handgun round often doesn't instantly kill or disable the person shot who can fight for up to several more minutes and at that close of distance a knife wielding person can do a lot of damage in 30 seconds

Yes,

Anybody that has shot a deer with a center fire rifle can testify that the deer will run up to 100 yds before dying even though their heart or lungs are turned into mush. Humans are no different.
