I took this kid to get his Hunter Safety Class and on opening day of blackpowder season, he took a nice 10 point. I really think I was more excited than JM. His family was excited as well! JM shot the buck without any help or than some instructions. I started taking him and his 8 year old brother hunting last year. In the last picture, he wouldn't except the gift that I was trying to give him. I don't blame him. This experience ranks very high with me and I always get emotional telling people about it. We field dressed it, took it to the taxidermy and we processed it ourselves. Great and thankful kid. The last time I took the 8 year old hunting, he got mad because I forgot his Dr Pepper! I would rather have him on a sugar kick than mad.
