Tested some reloads today

Airsoft sight = way better than airsoft ammo! I am starting to reload as well. taking the rifle class at H&H. It is a start!
What rifle and components did you use on these?

Nice target and sure is fun shooting at them.
What was the gun and load you were shooting?

It was my BCM 16" upper BCG and charging handle with a Noveske gen 2 chainsaw lower with a PSA LPK with magpul furniture.
My load was a Hornady 55gr fmjbt w/c using 22.5 grains of AA 2230, CCI primer, and PMC brass

wow, that is light on the powder charge. was it cycling ok?

That's Accurate arms load data everything was up to spec. Cycle fine, it's supposed to be a real fast burning powder. The max load is 25 grains.

Interesting, my data gives 28.5 as max. rock on dude.

thats been my experience. even more so depending on how old the book is.

This reminded me of the very first box of reloads I made and shot.
I was standing there thinking about an explosion and how I would look.

Your not the only one that was thinking about that the first time I reloaded was for my 300 win mag it was the first time I had ever shot anything that big and the first time I had ever reloaded. Needless to say I survived
