No. Stay focused on the issue. Cops have no business shooting unarmed men. Cops have no business dog piling a citizen which ended in loss of life. Cops have no business shooting a citizen while he's handcuffed.

The same parents your blaming raised cops.

Cops work for the good if all people. There's no excuse for crushing a guys larynx. There's no excuse for shooting a unarmed man who is running away. There's no excuse

Cops who turn a blind eye to other cops using excessive force are witnesses to a crime. They need to step up and arrest their fellow officers or be charged as an accessory to a crime.

Baltimore will settle down much like Ferguson did. In the mean time, other Cops need to start minding their Ps and Qs.

I understand it's a tough job. I understand there are many issues, esp in the decaying poor sections. Its not a Cops job to bring these cities back....if they can be brought back.

Cops arrest millions everyday. Cops stop citizens everyday. The stuff we've seen recently, isn't about blaming Cops or the people they stopped.

Its about accountability. If a guy is a criminal, ok, make the arrest in the safest way possible.....squash a guy to death, then get held accountable. Shoot a guy 5 times in the back....get held accountable. Shoot a cuffed guy accidently because your buddy is Sherrif....get held accountable.

IMO, because other Cops witness these crimes against citizens, there should be no internal investigation. Other Cops witness a violation of law.....an arrest should have been made immediately. The badge wearing guys are as much to blame as the criminals they were altercating with.

Stay focused on the issue. Cops killing citizens. Fix that problem, then we can focus on the next issue. Really it should be a easy fix since there's a ton more good cops than stupid cops.

Accountability starts years before LE gets involved. If accountability was legit, and a priority, there would be no need for LE. The issue at hand isn't solely cops killing citizens, actually it's a very minor part of the problem. Should the Adair Co. GW just let the perp hold his head under water, as to prevent rioting and looting?

Roll out the military and stop the bs, you can protest all you want but the second you start burning down your city,state,country you are a domestic terrorist and should be treated as such.

You want to act like heathens I vote you live like heathens kill power, water, and utilities and you don't get your first world luxuries until you act like citizens.

I know that's not the popular opinions but I bet it would fix the problem. The way I see it the people who don't like how police are do nothing to change it (voting for new sheriffs or attending city meetings open to the public) and they are danged sure not going and signing up to be a Leo or in the military themselves.

Cops killing citizens of every ethnic group has been going on since cops were formed. That is not the issue at all.
There has been relatively few issues with this considering the number of arrests overall. Its a minor issue in the overall reason the black community is what it is.

Before anybody says it, I'm sure it was an issue for the ones that were shot and were innocent, so that is already out there.

IMHO the blame lies on the community itself caused by their leadership. The race baiters (which have been around way before this century, or the last) have perpetuated the po' black man, beaten down by the man mentality.

Kids only know what they are taught. Eventually that becomes a part of their thinking over generations and they think no matter what they do, it will never be anything different.

The ones that have broken that cycle have gone on to become productive citizens. Watching the news tonight in Baltimore, black citizens that have broken that mold were in the crowd urging the protestors to go home. They were state Senators and State Congress people.
Others have broken out of the mold by building businesses that get burnt down by their own people. How disturbing is that?

Those legislators have learned by breaking out that they might be able to make a difference the right way. By the vote.

The Rev Jesse Jackson, the Rev Al Sharpton, and the Rev Jeremiah Wright seem to have a different perspective on what is God-like.

Whites oppressing blacks? Then why do blacks continually follow whites when "white flight" occurs? Stockholm Syndrome? If whites are the mean, racist creatures they are made out to be, should not minorities be happy when the whites move away, leaving them to their own devices?

Someone please answer that question honestly.
