You need to pull that mess out.

Yep, the ref's are the reason I quit watching years ago and then this year thought I would try again with the thunder..I would actually continue to watch tonight if I knew Perkins or someone would knock one of the refs into the next zip code. Not gonna happen..

Why must everyone constantly ***** about the officiating of these finals games? I am just as upset as everyone else that OKC is down 3 games to 1 but it is not only the ref's problems that they are down in the series. I guess i am just old school and don't put all accountability on the officiating crews in sports. With that being said yes in every sport every year they are bound to make a few mistakes but to blame them for the whole thing is ludicrous and makes us look like a bunch of whine bag dumb asses. IF it is truly their fault don't you think by now there would be stories in mainstream media like there is for every other sport when that happens? Don't you think that the league and officiating staffs would issue statements and apologies like in every other sport? Come on man!
I see a lot of people saying the refs bias wouldn't matter if the Thunder were playing the way they know how to play. That said, the bias is there and it's obvious. When refs blow a few calls here and there, it's to be expected. When they consistently blow them in one direction, it's an issue. It's not like the Thunder play dirty, yet the foul stats would suggest otherwise. As for the MSM stories, you must not be looking very hard:

Honestly? I blame Stern. I hate to say it, but controversy fuels ratings. Controversy keeps the NBA on everyone's mind. Ever heard the phrase "There's no such thing as bad publicity"? Everyone knows Stern has issues and this is one of them. He's been there WAY too long and I think what he's doing is bad for the sport. JMO, YMMV
