Dec first …. Start of trout fishing in jenks. The lake was stocked. We caught enough for a nice fish fry for the two of us. We caught a few more until now. it was nothing like last year where we caught and released a lot of trout. This year we caught two per day at most and it is like most that we talked to while fishing.
The tulsa paper today has an article where it describes where trouts u limited is stocking a lake in lafortune park with an emphasis on kids rather than stocking veterans
park in jenks. The lafortune lake is for kids only foor a week or so....then open for adults also. Limited lowered to four. Reason to stock two lakes rather than one. Easier to fly fish, the fishing to be done in Tulsa rather than jenks.
So forget this and to start looking for crappie fishing docks.
