Okay, I have an unusual (pistol) shooting stance; it looks strange (not technically "proper") but it works for me. I shoot 28 out of 30 targets at the Army Pistol Qualifiction range using my improper form. Is it okay to use this improper form or should I try to get used to using the "Army Approved" style? Thanks! :drunk2:

What is your stance and what is the "Army Approved" stance? There are lots of shooting techniques out there, some good, some, not so much. keep in mind that most static, "square range" techniques don't necessarily lend themselves to good practical shooting. I have no idea what the Army is teaching these days. I know the State of Oklahoma is only now coming out of the stone age.
