Lexington and Noble used to be notorious speed traps. Noble hasn't been so bad since their PD imploded, resulting in no city police service followed by the hiring of an actual professional LEO to be the chief. I've never had a problem with Lex's finest, but I'm careful about my speed in general.

Last speeding ticket (and the ONLY one in twenty-two years) was in Lexington. Speed limit goes down rather abruptly, I got nailed doing 35 in 25 - and thought I was in 45mph zone....call it what you want. 185 bucks, IIRC.
