The Tag Agents can and may or may not provide some information, but you want to go directly to the OTC for records in their entirety.
You can, for reasons outlined on the form, request EVERY title transactionon record for the vehicle. Other states may vary, but generally it involved completing a form or sending a written formal request to the regulatory body (DOT, DPS, DMV) outlining what you need. Fees are generally small, less than $5 in most cases.
I do this daily in the course of my employment.
