I have 3 vortex viper scopes, which are awesome, because of their warranty they hold their resale or trade value very well.
I picked up a used vortex without the box or any of the accessories. I called the company because I needed the part number to know which sunshade I needed to order. I told them I had purchased the scope used. The customer service people took my address and mailed me a box with all of the accessories in it. It actually cost the company money to give me a sunshade.

Have any of the UH-1 holographic red dot sights made it out of the factory yet?

How about a Vortex Spitfire (prism) for the old folks that can't use a red dot? Did not see any last time I was in.

    Splain more.
One of our Eat and Shoot members has issues with a red dot and can't shoot with one.

Mounting, unmounting, & remounting is easy. I like the red & green color settings as well as the differences in brightness it can be set to as well. When I shoot inside or outside regardless of lightning it's easy to adjust to my desired settings. Battery last long enough too.
