Waiting on a seal

I need one more seal to finish rebuilding the lower unit of my 1975 50HP mercury.
Then stick it back on the 1975 Bayliner Mosquito and test it out.

Usually just me and 1 other person going fishing and this little boat is so much easier on the MPG than a Pontoon.
Knock on wood I hope everything works out on it.

If I had to I could make that work.
I have dealt with leather seals many times.
That one is just soooo cute though.

Been there and you are spot on and they have Clover lapping compound right there.
Needed a Seal for a Camshaft grinder maybe a Berco I can't remember.
