Walther P22 fail

Judging from the allen head screws on the stabilizer, I'd say it was reassembled where the slide made contact with stabilizer. This might not fall under warranty.

That was my concern also. That the slide was hitting the comp. I've owned five of these without any issues except being picky on ammo. I downloaded the P-22 Bible off the web and totally rebuilt the one I kept of the five and it runs great. I've not even seen picture of one breaking in that area before. Glad no one was hurt. No doubt they are cheap made little pistols.

Just got in a Sig P322. So far so good. Like it way better than the Walther P22 I used to have.

I think I'd best check the wife's - and her 380 as well just to be on the safe side.

Stuff like this is worthy of a recall.
