Meh...
Good is a relative term I guess. Didn't kill anything but we saw some deer, a few good bucks. Put the Choctaw crawl on a nice buck, got within 30 yards and he busted my buddy when he went to draw back.
It was slow though, buck movement really slowed down the week before we got there.
It's ok, I'll be back up there in a week or so and probably spend most of November there.

Made it an all day affair. Didn't see a thing. Was nice and peaceful though.

Going out Friday and Saturday. I think this will be a record for me as far as getting out this early in the season.

First time in last night. Shot a 6 point, but could not find him.

I hunted Wed-Fri morning. 5 sits and never saw a deer. Was in camp with 7 guys and there was only one doe killed on Fri morning. I think there were 3 missed shots though but the sightings were slim.

Well I had some success last night. Finally saw some deer and shot this fat doe. She almost went down in sight but made it about 10 yards off the edge of my food plot. This was my first bow kill on my own land so I was excited to get her.
