As usual found at the range. Are they .400 Legend work ups?

They are right at 10mm at the mouth and 50.5mm long.

.308 case

The mouth seems to be rolled/crimped in just a bit.

Definitely an oddball size. My first thoughts were 400 Legend but the length seems long. If I went to the trouble of using cut down 308 brass, it wouldn't matter what cartridge it was, it'd be picking it up.

Could be homebrewed 8.6 blackout brass. You can trim and size .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor brass like you can 5.56 to make .300 blackout.

I think it would have to be around .45 cal based off the dimensions of .308 brass

Finally found this. I think it was a .308 fired in a .30-06.

yukon ok
Buddy shot a 20 gauge bird shot in a 12 gauge and it was kind of quiet.
The above and the 20 in a 12 is not recommended :)

Makes for very interesting brass though :)
